Board Game Cafe
Happy Badger Board Game Cafe is Turku's first board game cafe, which opened in August 2024 in the Hansakortteli shopping center.
We have tables large enough for gaming, a quality game selection, the chance to enjoy food and drinks, and friendly service. The lighting is good, the music isn't too loud, and you'll be able to think and chat normally.
The cafe is located on the St. Erik building facade in Hansakortteli. The exact address is Kristiinankatu 9 A 7, 20100 Turku.
Playing at the Board Game Cafe costs Tue-Wed EUR5 / Thu & Sun EUR6 / Fri-Sat EUR7 per person. Paying in advance when you book a table gets you a discount on the game fee. Once you've paid the game fee, you can spend up to 4 hours playing whatever you like on Fridays and Saturdays. On other days, the game fee isn't time-limited. The cafe also now has games you can play without paying a game fee.

BOOK A TABLE
Secure your spot at the café by making a table reservation. On weekends (Fri-Sat) it's worth booking 2 weeks ahead due to high demand.
GAME LIBRARY
Happy Badger's game library consists of nearly 300 different games, carefully selected to match players' wishes and needs. Here you can find a more detailed list of our board games and console games. You can use the game library for a game fee. The game list is about 90% accurate, as new games arrive at the café weekly, and less-played ones are removed from the selection.
GAME PASS
With Happy Badger's game pass, you earn rewards by completing tasks at the café. For example, bringing friends to experience the board game café and teaching them a board game already advances two goals on your game pass.
TABLE SIGNS
At Happy Badger you can let other players know whether your table is open or closed to others. Anyone can join an open table. You can get a table sign from the counter.
