A) The cafe has an alcohol license as well as retail sale rights, so we also sell things like microbrewery products to take away.
Q) Is there an age limit at the cafe?
A) There's no age limit at the cafe, but we recommend that children under 13 visit only with a guardian present. After 10 PM, we ask that young people head home to rest.
Q) Is the cafe accessible?
A) The cafe has a step-free entrance from the side passage on the Kristiinankatu side of Hansakortteli. There is also an accessible restroom on site.
Q) Can you eat at the cafe?
A) We offer hearty options such as focaccia meals, dirty fries, and veggie dippers.
Q) What does the game fee include, and who does it apply to?
A) The game fee gives you access to Happy Badger's extensive game library for the day, as well as the right to spend time at the cafe for as long as you like within opening hours. The game fee is charged once per day, per player.
Q) I'm bringing my own game. Does the game fee apply to me too?
A) Everyone playing at the cafe pays the game fee. The game fee helps the venue keep developing, with gaming always coming first.

Secure your spot at the café by making a table reservation. On weekends (Fri-Sat) it's worth booking 2 weeks ahead due to high demand.
GAME LIBRARY
Happy Badger's game library consists of nearly 300 different games, carefully selected to match players' wishes and needs. Here you can find a more detailed list of our board games and console games. You can use the game library for a game fee. The game list is about 90% accurate, as new games arrive at the café weekly, and less-played ones are removed from the selection.
GAME PASS
With Happy Badger's game pass, you earn rewards by completing tasks at the café. For example, bringing friends to experience the board game café and teaching them a board game already advances two goals on your game pass.
TABLE SIGNS
At Happy Badger you can let other players know whether your table is open or closed to others. Anyone can join an open table. You can get a table sign from the counter.
